Well, it’s official – my photography is going into a gallery in BC called Beechtree Art and Glass Studio. I’ll have more details in the upcoming weeks… If you want prints let me know!
You can see some of my photos in my portfolio
YAY!
It’s almost 10 years since I had my photography has debuted publicly. I’ve had them in a downtown Toronto gallery as part of a Kodak show. It’s even been sent around the globe as I’ve done photography for the City of Vaughan – to help promote the region for development, investment, etc.
Apple Box Images (UK) is selling many of my more recent shots as part of their greeting card business, as well as printed on canvases – they call these AppleBlocks. I’ve had people from all over the world use several of my photos for various web and print productions, for corporate, non-profit, and personal use.
This is just the start of some great work to come!

Well, it was bound to happen eventually. The first snowfall that left snow on the ground.
You know what really bugs me about the winter? Drivers who slow down to a crawl to stare and gawk at something that happened in the other lane. I mean c’mon… is it really necessary to drive 5km/hr just to see that someone drove like an idiot?

I bought my fiancee an ibook in Sept. 2004. She wanted it for school. Now that she’s working (in a PC environment) she wants a PC laptop – so that she can familiarize herself with it.
View photos at: http://pisarek.com/ibook
Here are the specs:
- iBook (M9418LL/A)
- 14.1″
- 1GHz
- 768MB RAM
- 40GB
- Combo drive
- Apple Protection Plan – just under 2 years left
- All power cables, etc.
- All original packaging, software, box, etc. I will even re-image the system to it’s original state for you.
- The battery is like brand new! I still get approx 5hrs out of it (depending on usage it might be more or less)
- NO DEAD PIXELS!
EXTRAS
- iSkin blue keyboard tray protector
- Macally dot-mouse (usb)
- Marware iBook sleeve – baracuda skin is what they call the pattern
NOTES
- I have formatted the system and it now has OS 10.4.3 with all the latest updates – the pictures were taken before I wiped the system
- The case has been cleaned up
- Save lots of $ if you buy this laptop vs. a new one
- The applecare alone is worth about $400CAD
This system cost over $2300 at the time of purchase plus about $130 for the extras.
I’m asking for $1500
I would prefer a local sale – but I’m willing to ship. We can work out the shipping details. I live in the northern GTA (Richmond Hill). I’m frequently in Thornhill and North York. I work in Oshawa. Outside of those areas, we can discuss shipping options.

So, I’ve upgraded the software package to a different company. Having said this, I’ve lost the comments that you’ve posted. However, this software is a lot more robust… so I think it’ll be worth it in the long run.
Because it’s new software, I have to work on the template and get it back to the style for my personal site so it’s all branded the same.
I’m definitely part of the team. My problem right now is the cost. The flight alone is over $1500CAD! Plus the tournament is $350CAD, plus the hotel for the days of the tournament is approx $70CAD/night. Not to mention food, travel inside Israel, etc.
So, what is David doing?
I’m working on getting donations.
Those people who donate will be listed on my Hockey Donaters list with an advertisement. This page will be online until February 1, 2007.
So, what’s the problem?
The problem is that the money is going to a US organization, which means that Canadian citizens cannot get a tax receipt.
How can I help David get to Israel?
The answer, quite simply, is donate some money.
Even a small amount of $5CAD will help. I’ll take anything…
I want David to go, how do I donate?
Well, you can pay me via paypal:
Or if you like, you can contact me and get my mailing address to mail money to me.

I really wanted to go to the CSS workshop, however it was full when I signed up for the conference. Instead, I ended up attending the Web Accessibility workshop.
Anyways, if you’re looking for my notes you can get them right here:

Today’s 2 sessions from the HighEdWebDev 2005 conference were quite good. Over the past 2 days, I attended 10 sessions. Two of those were session winners for those tracks. There were 2 tracks that I was not able to attend on the other days, so i attended them today.
Onwards and upwards – Here are the notes from 2 of the winning sessions that I had not attended the other days.

Well, it’s nearing the end of the sessions of day 2, and I’ve created PDF files of my notes from the sessions that I’ve been to.
Some words of caution
- Mind the spelling – I’ll be updating the spelling problems soon
- I’m not responsible for any of the content, however if you want to discuss it with me, feel free
So, without further delay, here you go:
